Actress Stefka Nalani tells, performs, dances, and sings “The Little Mermaid”, inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s beloved fairy tale and featuring a touching ending adapted by Johannes Galli.

Through this interactive theatre experience, children have the unique opportunity to experience the art of acting up close. Stefka Nalani brings the story to life by transforming into its many fairy-tale characters on stage. The children are not only invited to listen with excitement but also to become active participants in the performance.

They can share their thoughts and ideas with the actress, whose spontaneous responses are woven directly into the story. At many moments throughout the performance, children are also invited to join her on stage and take part in the action themselves. The result is a lively and interactive theatrical experience that creates a special connection between storyteller and audience—a delight for children and adults alike.

The story follows a young mermaid who lives happily with her sisters in the depths of the sea until one day she falls deeply in love with a handsome prince. Determined to follow her longing, she journeys to the realm of the Sea Witch, where she exchanges her beautiful voice for a pair of legs.

But when she finally reaches the human world, she is heartbroken to discover that the prince does not recognize her. Now only the love of a true soul can save her...
